Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Description: The position requires an experienced Registered Nurse in the Medical-Surgical/Telemetry specialty. The role involves caring for patients in an acute care setting, including telemetry monitoring. Travelers must have knowledge in handling pediatric and adolescent patients occasionally. The Registered Nurse may be floated to other units based on patient care needs. Support from a House Supervisor is available 24/7. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5. Candidates must be able to read telemetry strips effectively. Experience in stepdown units is highly desirable. Pediatric experience and charge nurse experience are preferred. Candidates must hold current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association. This position involves working weekdays and every other weekend. Travel experience is not required. The working environment may involve floating between various units as necessary. Efficient communication and teamwork are essential in this position.
