Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab Location: Gallipolis, OH 45631 Contract Duration : 13 Weeks Shifts: Day Shift, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,886.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $1,640.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,246.00 Per Week Position Summary: we are seeking a Registered Nurse with Cath Lab experience to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide specialized cardiac catheterization lab care, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures and patient recovery. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care in the Cath Lab, including assisting with interventional procedures such as IABP insertion, temporary pacemaker placement, pacemakers, ICDs, Micra devices, peripheral interventions, stent and balloon angioplasty, and conscious sedation. Monitor patient status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure in both the Cath Lab and recovery areas. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, technicians, and support staff. Utilize electronic health records (Xper, Paragon, Athena) for accurate documentation of patient care; training will be provided. Participate in on-call and weekend coverage as per schedule. Assist with occasional floating to nuclear medicine for stress tests or sedation for biopsy procedures. Qualifications: Licensure: Current Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission (mandatory). Experience: Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience required. Certifications: ACLS and BLS required. Skills: Proficiency with Cath Lab equipment and special procedures including IABP, pacemakers, ICD, Micra, peripheral interventions, penumbra, stents, balloons, and conscious sedation.
