Uniti Med is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Charleston, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements ~ Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit ~ Discipline: RN ~ Start Date: ASAP ~ Duration: 13 weeks ~36 hours per week ~ Shift: 12 hours, nights ~ Employment Type: Travel 15 Beds. Priority 2 transfers from the ICU requiring intermediate level care. New monitoring system with invasive monitoring capability. Can monitor Arterial pressures and central venous pressures. Patient population includes adult and pediatric surgical and vascular clients requiring close cardiac monitoring. Ratios: 1:3 Skills Req: Cardiac Tele/Telemetry experience required; Post TAVR (Transcatheter aortic valve replacement) designated unit; Post CEA and Post femoral popliteal bypass patient population; Invasive line monitoring; Transvenous pacemaker/Chest tubes; Critical medication administration; Respiratory ventilation management; Interpretation of dysrhythmias; Management of dysrhythmias Years of experience REQ: 2 Years First-timers accepted: Yes - if experience requirements met Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS; PALS (preferred, not required) Can be floated within scope if needed Manager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests 100mi.
