Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 2 x 8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30); 3 x 12-Hour (09:00 - 21:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: State or Compact License preferred Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: - Clean license with no prior suspensions - Willingness to receive flu vaccine unless medically exempted - Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility Description: We are seeking an X-Ray Technician with a focus on day and evening shifts. The shift schedule consists of two 8-hour shifts and three 12-hour shifts. Candidates may also be expected to work occasional weekends. Scrubs will be provided. The role is in a Level 1 trauma center, Stroke Center, and Bariatric Center. The position involves a variety of patients, including ER, inpatients, and outpatients. A significant number of surgery cases will be performed, specifically in orthopedics and neurology. Experience with GE OEC C-arms for surgeries is required. Familiarity with Medtronic O-arms for spine surgery cases is preferred. Required skills include the use of portable machines and C-arms. Preferred skills include experience with PACS. Candidates should submit a profile detailing work history and relevant experience. References from at least two managers or charge nurses within the past two years are required. Candidates should also include license verification and requested time off in the application. Referrals for candidates who refuse the flu shot without medical proof will not be accepted. Candidates will be assessed on a case-by-case basis if there are any prior probationary actions on their license.
