Job Title: Social Worker Profession: Social Services Specialty: LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required License: State Licensed (WV) or Compact RN License required (pending applications accepted) Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Masters in Social Work or Bachelors in Social Work (if acute care experience) Description: We are seeking a Social Worker for a Short Term Acute Care Inpatient Medical setting. The position requires coverage for 40-60 patients per day. This role involves working 5x8 hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:30, including weekdays and some weekends. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two years of acute care experience and relevant certifications. First-time travelers are welcomed. Clinicians may be floated within appropriate scope to meet facility needs. Potential call requirement (remote) will be discussed during the interview process. Candidates must provide proof of certification and references from at least two managers or charge nurses within the past two years. Flu vaccination is required unless medical exemptions are documented. Covid vaccination is not required.
