Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/07/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 34 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU Location: Huntington, WV Contract Duration:13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross:$2,218.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $972.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,246.00 Per Week Job Summary: we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Critical Care Float Pool. This role is ideal for a nurse with at least 2 years of ICU experience, comfortable working in a Level II Trauma, teaching hospital environment. The RN will float as needed to ICU units within the hospital, supporting patient care and ensuring clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team Monitor patient vitals, manage IVs, medications, and ventilators Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving procedures when necessary Maintain accurate documentation and use Cerner charting system Float between units as required by facility needs Adhere to hospital and unit protocols, including infection control and patient safety standards Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care Qualifications: Active RN license in West Virginia (or compact license) Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience required Open to first-time travelers Ability to float within ICU units Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills Certifications: (Preferred but not explicitly required unless specified by facility) ACLS BLS CCRN (preferred) Radius Rule: No locals accepted within 60 miles About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
