Provides therapies included but not limited to: Administration of vasoactive drugs, respiratory/ventilator support, management of cardiac status with continuous cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, parenteral and enteral nutritional support, temporary transvenous pacing, Intra Aortic Balloon Pump Therapy, thrombolytic therapy, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), peritoneal dialysis, and acute hemodialysis performed by a hemodialysis nurse.Assesses unit, patient and -staff.Plans for meeting the needs of the patient, staff, physicians, and -hospital.Performs management duties for units under their -supervision.Evaluates the assessment, planning and intervention processDemonstrates professional and personal developmentDelivers direct patient care appropriate to the age of patient -served.Minimum EducationGraduate of a Program in Discipline RequiredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 daysAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - to be obtained within 6 monthsModerate Sedation - to be obtained within 6 monthsOne (1) year nursing experienceRequired Licenses[West Virginia, United States] Other
