  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU - Trauma Stepdown 5S 48's Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36's, EOW Length: 13 weeks Requirements:
  • WV/Compact License
  • 2 years of RN experience Required; 1 year in-specialty experience required
  • Background of PCU, IMC, Trauma, SDU
  • Skill Requirements: IV Start, Vents, Telemetry, Level 1 Trauma Experience, Conscious Sedation
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • Fit Test, CPI (Travelers can get CPI done with Qualivis)
  • TNCC preferredOther details:
    • Ratios: Floor RN: 1:5 / SDU: 1:3
    • 1st Time Travelers Accepted if experienced in ICU / Trauma
    • Clinician can be floated within scope to meet facilities needs
    • 100mi. Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
    • Charting: Cerner5S Trauma Stepdown (IMC/PCU) RN3x12 or 4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, EOW, float**Please limit holiday RTO requests to no more than 1 of the 3 major holidays**25 Floor Beds, 6 Step-Down Beds, 6 Peds Beds. Multidisciplinary team approach in providing nursing care to multi-system-injured trauma patients and surgical patients. A six-bed intermediate care stepdown unit provides an intermediate level of care. Ideal candidates could have a background of PCU, IMC, Trauma, SDU. Travelers would not be required to see the Peds patients.
