Job Description:
The Product Manager is responsible for overseeing and
implementing the Business Systems Roadmap across one or multiple
internal and external applications including but not limited to
ERP, CRM, Service Now, or HRIS. The Product Manager evaluates
existing applications to suggest enhancements and prioritizes
proposed modifications from business process owners. Functioning at
times as business analyst, project manager, QA/Tester, and trainer
the Product Manager assists where necessary throughout the
development lifecycle process. This position requires the ability
to communicate across the organization, often translating between
the business process owner and technical staff. The Product Manager
may oversee a team of internal or external resources per
project.Primary Position Tasks:
- Act as the primary business point of contact for one or
multiple applications
- Build product roadmap leveraging market/product knowledge and
business priorities
- Scope proposed system modifications for level of effort and
return on investment
- Coordinate with analyst and development staff on projects
- Monitor and continually enhance application effectiveness to
drive adoption
- Contribute to documentation for projects, bug fixes, and
application planning
- Be highly responsive and flexible in a multi-project,
fast-paced environment
- Other business duties as assignedMinimum
Education/Certification/Experience Requirements:
- BS or BA in Business, Accounting, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience working in Business Operations or
Applications
- Knowledge of standard software development lifecyclePreferred
Experience :
- Finance or accounting background
- ERP experience - particularly Deltek Costpoint or Microsoft
NAV/Business Central
- Product Management experience
