Job Description:
This position is open to remote work.
As the Product Data Manager, you will work across all departments
to improve master product data quality and improve customer
experience across pricing, marketing, sales, and eCommerce
channels. A vital part of this position requires a great deal of
problem solving, time management, and critical thinking skills to
manage product content for a large volume of SKUs. You will be
responsible for the management of data in our ERP system as well as
the Product Information Management (PIM) system.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Define and document data quality rules, policies, approval
processes, metrics, and reports and implement plans to ensure
product data remains clean and accurate.
Manage the product data flow across multiple software applications,
including the PIM, ERP, and eCommerce platform.
Oversee the product's hierarchy and taxonomy based on the needs by
sales, pricing, marketing, supply chain, and eCommerce teams.
Responsible for ongoing activities, objectives, and to lead
projects or steps within a broader project centered around product
data.
Support in enhancing and optimizing product data by leveraging
analytical tools to understand which content features are most
highly correlated with sales lift and search rank.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or related field; or four
years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
3+ years of experience working in a product data management
capacity.
Demonstrated remote project management ability.
Demonstrated understanding of InRiver, Riversand, Syndigo, Salsify,
Informatica, or similar structured product information management
system (PIM) and/or a master data management (MDM) tool.
Proficient in Microsoft SQL.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
