Job Description Job Description Role Summary We’re hiring a Roofing Repair Technician who can run scheduled appointments, diagnose roofing issues, present solutions, sell the work, and complete the repairs personally. This role is a mix of field technician consultative sales. You’ll handle repairs, roof rejuvenation, maintenance, and when appropriate, identify and sell full roof replacements. This is a great fit for someone who’s comfortable talking to homeowners, confident in roofing knowledge, and takes pride in clean, high-quality repair work. Key Responsibilities Run daily roofing appointments (homeowner and light commercial) Inspect roofs and troubleshoot leaks/issues; document findings (photos/notes) Present repair, maintenance, and rejuvenation options clearly and professionally Price and sell repair work on-site (and sell full replacements when appropriate) Perform the sold work yourself, including but not limited to: Leak detection and repairs Pipe boot / flashing repairs Shingle replacement and sealing Minor decking repairs (as applicable) Chimney/wall flashing repairs Ventilation-related fixes (as applicable) Roof rejuvenation applications (training provided if needed) Maintenance services (reseals, inspections, tune-ups, etc.) Communicate job status and next steps with office/team Maintain a clean, safe jobsite and professional customer experience Track materials used and keep vehicle/tools organized Follow all safety requirements (harnessing, ladder safety, PPE) Required Qualifications 2 years roofing experience (repair experience strongly preferred) Ability to confidently diagnose leaks and explain solutions to customers Comfortable with selling (no “hard selling,” but you must be able to ask for the business) Ability to complete repairs independently with high quality Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle optional if you provide one) Able to climb ladders, work on steep roofs, and lift 50 lbs Strong communication skills and a professional appearance Preferred Qualifications Experience with roof rejuvenation products/processes Basic carpentry experience (minor decking/trim repairs) Experience with documentation apps (photos, notes, checklists) Prior in-home sales or service estimating experience What Success Looks Like (90-Day Expectations) Consistently runs appointments on time and communicates clearly with customers Produces clean documentation (photos notes) for each job Closes and completes repair work with minimal callbacks Identifies full replacement opportunities and hands off/sells appropriately Maintains strong customer satisfaction and review-worthy service
