Location: Charleston, West Virginia Pay Rate: $20 based on
experience Job Summary: The B-Level Automotive Technician performs
intermediate-level diagnostics and repairs, bridging the gap
between routine maintenance and advanced technical work. This role
requires solid mechanical knowledge, the ability to diagnose common
issues, and the capability to complete repairs efficiently while
maintaining high safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate
is experienced, detail?oriented, and ready to take on more complex
responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform intermediate
diagnostic procedures and identify mechanical and electrical
issues. - Complete repairs such as brake jobs, suspension repairs,
cooling system service, and engine performance troubleshooting. -
Assist A-level technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs
when needed. - Communicate repair needs clearly with service
advisors and team members. - Maintain accurate documentation on
repair orders. - Ensure all work meets company, manufacturer, and
safety standards. - Utilize diagnostic tools, scanners, and shop
equipment properly. - Perform road tests to confirm repair accuracy
as required. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent
required. - 2–4 years of professional automotive repair experience
preferred. - Completion of an automotive technology program highly
preferred. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. -
Working knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical,
braking, steering, and engine performance. - Ability to diagnose
and repair intermediate?level mechanical issues. Skills &
Competencies: - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem?solving
ability. - Confident using diagnostic equipment and repair tools. -
Excellent time?management and organization. - Strong communication
skills with team and leadership. - Ability to work independently
with minimal supervision. Physical Requirements: - Ability to
stand, bend, lift, and work with hands for extended periods. -
Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs when necessary. - Comfortable
working in varying shop environments. Schedule & Work Environment:
This is a full?time position in a professional automotive service
facility. Weekend availability may be required depending on
