  • A market-leading provider of working capital, investment capital, trust services, and sales financing solutions that help customers optimize liquidity and grow their business through their lifecycleThe successful candidate must be located in the Mid West region of the United States.The Specialty Markets Relationship Manager (RM) will work within the Commercial Vehicle Group (---CVG---) and is responsible for marketing various services and products directly to over-the-road and private fleet transportation companies operating more than (25) power units. The assigned territory is the states of Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, Michigan. --The individual will be required to be physically located within the assigned territory. Travel is required on a weekly basis to visit customers and prospects. The RM role requires a strong background in sales and credit with a high degree of knowledge of the trucking industry and equipment specifications. Experience in originating, qualifying and closing a variety of financing products is helpful, including familiarity with operating leases, conditional sales contracts, Split TRACs, TRACs and term loans. The RM will identify opportunities and develop relationships with existing contacts as well as developing new customers. The RM will work cooperatively with internal WFEF staff to submit, approve, negotiate, document and fund transactions.--Employees support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit---s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Required Qualifications
    • 2+ years of relationship management experienceDesired Qualifications
      • 3+ years of Equipment Finance experience
      • Basic knowledge of lending products
      • Basic knowledge and understanding of tax, accounting, and legal issues; associated with purchase money financings and credit issues, including program master loan documentation, customer loan and lease agreements, and inventory credit facilities
      • Strong collaboration skills
      • Ability to qualify, structure, price, negotiate, and close credit transactions
      • High degree of structuring experience with financial products including loans, FMV leases, and inventory lines
      • Knowledge of and ability to interpret financial statements
      • Demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding business goals and objectives
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skillsOther Desired Qualifications
        • 5+ years of commercial finance experience that includes experience in the transportation industry including heavy and medium duty trucks as well as van, flat and refrigerated trailers. --
        • Knowledge and experience related to tractor and trailer specs. --
        • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships and interact with customers at the CEO and CFO level. --
        • Prior equipment finance experience managing a territory with originations in excess of $35-40 millionJob Expectations
