Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Long Term Acute Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift/n/n Assignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n Day shift, 3x12.0 hours. /n/nJob Description/n The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring adherence to the nursing care plan. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees, focusing on patient and employee safety. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Perform a nursing assessment on all patients within 8 hours of admission. /n - Identify teaching needs and goals based on nursing assessments. Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. /n - Provide timely patient information for team conferences and ensure accurate documentation in the medical record. /n - Participate actively in the patient rehabilitation program and prioritize patient education and care. /n - Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and provide relevant patient teaching. /n - Communicate changes in patient status to all care providers to ensure continuity of care. /n - Offer direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel and delegate appropriately. /n - Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures. /n - Contribute positively to unit functioning and participate in team-building activities. /n - Assume charge responsibility as needed, maintaining effective communication with management regarding service needs. /n - Actively pursue professional development and prioritize effective use of time and staff. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - BLS Certification required prior to first shift. /n - ACLS required prior to first shift (CIRH only). /n - Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience required. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
